Welcome to Another Year of Scouting

This past scouting year was a great one.  From our annual camp out at the farm to our winter camp out this year in a museum to spring activities and Summer camping, it was great. The boys who went to camp had a great time.  See the photos.  As we plan for another fun year, we hope to do more but can only do so if more adults get involved.  Please do think of stepping up to be a leader this year and or attending our monthly Committee Meetings held the last Wednesday of the Month.  This month we will meet early as we prepare for this scouting year.  We will meet Wednesday August 17th at the Church Hall at 7:00 pm. Please join us. 

This year we welcome some new scouts to Pack 405.  As part of a pilot offered across the country through BSA we welcome the new Lion Cubs to scouting.  Here at Pack 405 we will have a Lion Cub den for any parents and boys age Kindergarten.  The Lion program weaves traditional Scouting concepts of character development, leadership skills, personal fitness and citizenship into activities that are age-appropriate and fun for the boys and their parents. The activities introduce the family to Cub Scouting, and provide an exciting way for the little guys to explore the world around them. The program will fuel their imagination, creativity and fun as they experience the growth Scouting can provide. At the end of the Lion year, they “graduate” to Tiger and advance through Cub Scouting.  For more information please visit...
