Broadview Farms Itinerary September 26-27, 2015 (Boys to be broken into 3 groups to switch off on stations) 7:00 – 8:30 am Set up Camp 9:00 am Opening Ceremony 9:15 – 10:30 am Station – Map/Compass, Wrist Rockets, Forestry 10:30 – 11:45 am Station – Map/Compass, Wrist Rockets, Forestry 11:45 – 1:00 pm Lunch Time – Monkey Bridge 1:00 – 2:15 pm Station – Map/Compass, Wrist Rockets, Forestry 2:15 3:15 pm Games with Boy Scouts 3:15 – 4:45 pm Two Groups of Boys (switch half way through the time 45 minutes each) - Outdoorsman – Fire prep/rope fusion/ tent set up etc. - Conservation Walk 4:45 – 6:00 pm Food Prep 6:00 pm Dinner 7:00 – 9:30 pm Camp Fire - Skits 9:30 pm Quiet Time Sunday 7:00 – 8:30 am Breakfast 8:30 am Breakdown Camp 10:00 am Closing Ceremony 10:15 am Perimeter Walk (this is to make sure everything is leave no trace behind) Map and Compass – Bill McCarthy Wrist Rockets – Mark MacCuish Forestry – Brian Selling Outdoorsman – Tony Pica or Brian Selling Conservation Walk – Dave Yager/Paul Green - all scouts clean up with blue bags Cooking Prep – all scouts Monkey Bridge – Boy Scouts Menu Saturday Ask some den leaders to bring some donut holes for boys Drinks 3 containers of lemon aid mix Cocoa Coffee Milk for cocoa/coffee and scrambled eggs Toilet Paper Lunch Ham and turkey wraps with cheese, lettuce Chips, Cookies Fruit – apples and pears Granola bars Mayo, mustard, catchup, relish Dinner Chili (need mix and soft taco shells) Shredded lettuce and tomatoes, taco cheese Hot dogs hot dog rolls Chips Salad and dressing Smores – supplies Sunday Breakfast Scambled eggs – need freezer bags Cheese and precut ham Mini bagels Cream cheese/Jam | You are invited to join us for Pack 405’s Broadview Farm Camp Out! Who: Any Wolf, Bear or Webelos Scout from Pack 405 with their parent or guardian – The Boy Scouts from Troop 405 will also be camping! What: A weekend of outdoor fun and learning! Come enjoy the outdoors and sit by the campfire. Where: Broadview Farm, Young Road, Derry, NH (About a mile from the church) – see map below When: Saturday, September 26 at 7:00 am – Sunday, September 27, 12:00 pm (Please eat a good breakfast before you come!) How: Sign up at the information table at this Thursday's meeting! *If you are unable to attend this Thursday’s meeting and would like to joint in on the camp out, please let your den leader know. Many of us have spare equipment or good ideas for substitutes. Since this site has no water, we ask the every person bring a full gallon of drinking water to drop off at the cooking station. ***All Scouts attending must be registered with the Pack and have turned in an up to date Parts A&B of the Medical Form. |
